A convenient and ready-to-use, EPA-Registered formulation that is used to disinfect washable, hard, non-porous surfaces such as tables, floors, walls, countertops, metal, stainless steel, fiberglass (shower stalls and sinks), finished woodwork, vinyl or plastic upholstery.

- One-step disinfectant cleaner effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal*, fungicidal and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew, when used as directed.
- Use to remove odors caused by flooding and smoke from fires.
- Kills germs, bacteria and virus* on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces.
- Kills odor-causing bacteria. Effective in the presence of 5% serum contamination.
- Can be applied by wipe, mop, sponge, or coarse spray.
- Effective on hard, non-porous, inanimate, environmental surfaces found in hospitals, food processing areas, homes, restaurants, hotels, health clubs and spas.
- Used full strength, no dilution is required.

- Average Coverage Range: Dependent upon the method of application and the surface. Apply in sufficient quantity to ensure that the surface remains wet continuously for at least ten (10) minutes.

Spray Bottle | Use a coarse spray device to thoroughly wet the surface. Spray 6 - 8 inches from the surface. Keep wet for 1 - 10 minutes. Wipe or dry or let air dry. |

For Influenza Virus Type 1 and Human Coronavirus, treated surfaces must remain wet for 1 minute.

Generally speaking, handling hazards are minimal. If spraying, safety glasses are suggested to avoid spraying in eyes. Gloves are not normally required, as this product is not normally considered a skin hazard. However, if prolonged or repeated contact is expected, nitrile gloves could be used for added protection. It does NOT degrade like diluted bleach and remains at full strength for the duration of its shelf life.
Fogging is not a use included on our label. You can apply by coarse spray such as trigger, garden or airless sprayers at low pressure.
As stated on the product label, Foster 40-80 may be used on washable, hard, non-porous surfaces such as tables, floors, walls and countertops. It may be used in hospitals, homes, institutional locations such as restaurants, hotels, health clubs and spas, etc. If used on food prep surfaces, the label directions require rinsing of all surfaces that come in contact with food such as countertops, appliances, tables and stovetops with potable water before reuse. Please see copy of our label with the relevant food processing statements highlighted. NOTE: the product should not be used on utensils, glassware or dishes.
IN FOOD PRODUCTION FACILITIES, Foster 40-80 is NOT for food contact surfaces in food production facilities. We do not have any FDA approvals for this product. Do not use for sanitizing food production equipment. As stated on the label, “Before use in a federally inspected meat and poultry food processing plants and dairies, food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected.” Therefore this product would not be appropriate for food production areas, but other areas in the plant where food is not present or can be isolated, it may be possible. See label instructions.
40-80 is NOT for use on medical device surfaces.
